Gabriela earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Political Science from Emory University. During her time there, she actively participated in community organizing and educational events focused on local environmental issues. She also provided peer tutoring in Biology and Statistics, supporting fellow students in their academic pursuits.

After graduation, Gabriela applied her skills in the private sector, contributing to the development of solar and battery storage projects. Currently, she teaches ski lessons at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, helping students build confidence and develop the skills needed to navigate the mountain safely and enjoyably.

Gabriela's varied experiences reflect her passion for learning and her dedication to fostering supportive and engaging learning environments. She is enthusiastic about empowering students to tackle challenging subjects with confidence. In her free time, Gabriela enjoys knitting, photography, sewing, embroidery, volleyball, skiing, hiking, and climbing.
