Grant
Grant has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Aerospace, from the University of Dayton and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. He combines his extensive education in Math and Science with a passion for teaching making him an exceptional educator.
Between his two degrees, he served abroad in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone and innovative research work in Malawi during his master's thesis. These experiences have enriched his teaching philosophy.
Grant's experience spans over four years including roles as a Graduate School TA and a math teacher at Teton Science Schools. He provides an array of educational support that includes ACT and SAT test prep, tutoring in advanced math, algebra, physics, geometry and chemistry. He also enjoys fostering a strong foundation in math skills to help younger students excel for years to come.
Beyond the core subjects, Grant is enjoys coding, makerspace activities like woodshop and 3D printing, and leading extracurricular programs such as LEGO robotics. Grant loves the thrill of skiing and all the outdoor goodness Teton National Park can provide.
