Hatilie champions the idea that learning should be educational and enjoyable, emphasizing the importance of fun in the learning process. She believes that adventures, projects, experiments, collaborative learning, and those enlightening "aha" moments are key to making education engaging. Specializing in K-8 project-based learning, Hatilie integrates hands-on activities with essential literacy and math standards, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience.

Currently working towards her Wilson Reading System Level 1 certification, Hatilie is committed to becoming a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, reflecting her dedication to supporting diverse learning needs. Her familiarity with the Teton County School District's standards, methods, and curricula enables her to effectively supplement and enhance students' educational journeys.

Hatilie holds a B.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Puget Sound and a Master's in Education from a partnership between Teton Science School and Montana State. Her experience includes teaching Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Journeys School (now Mountain Academy) and serving as the Education Director at the Jackson Hole Children’s Museum, where she developed comprehensive S.T.E.A.M. programs for local K-5 classrooms. Additionally, as a Wyoming-certified K-5 teacher and a mother of two school-aged children, Hatilie brings professional expertise and personal insight to her tutoring approach.
