Val brings a decade of experience as a Spanish tutor, with a significant portion of her career spent in vital roles as an interpreter and translator within medical and educational contexts. Her work has been instrumental in supporting the Latino community, acting as a crucial link in settings such as JHHS and with non-profit organizations like El Puente, One 22, and La Voz. As a Certified Community Interpreter, Val has found deep fulfillment in her full-time engagement with youth and the Latino community, facilitating essential communication and understanding.

Val tailors her approach to each student in her tutoring, incorporating the finest research-based materials to enrich her teaching. Her experience spans a diverse range of students—from toddlers just beginning to learn words and basic vocabulary to graduate students in dual immersion programs needing academic support to adults seeking to become proficient in travel and communication in a diverse world.
